To celebrate 60 years of gorillas at Jersey Zoo we are inviting you to go bananas to help make our Gorilla Grand Design dreams a reality.

The remarkable work achieved by Durrell at Jersey Zoo and in the wild to save species from extinction has only been possible due to the generosity of our supporters.

You can choose to donate today or set yourself a fundraising challenge, why not be sponsored to explore the trail of gorillas across the island? Making it more exciting and worthwhile!

We also have some exciting events that you can attend; culminating in our Goodbye Gorilla weekend hosted at Jersey Zoo, and Grand Gorilla Auction where you can bid to take your own gorilla work of art home.

You can help create a much needed, state of the art, home to care for our beloved gorilla family.

Gorillas in the wild have been pushed to the brink of extinction due to habitat loss, hunting, wildlife trade and the spread of infectious disease. Jersey Zoo has been home to these majestic apes for 60 years, successfully breeding them and training conservationists to protect these gentle giants.

Although Badongo and his family love the vast and engaging outdoor area, it is time that the gorillas received a new and improved indoor home. You will be supporting a bold and exciting plan for a major extension, which will create an advanced gorilla habitat, providing the best conditions for their welfare, not just for today but also well into the future.
